Sparks make safe choices for self, relationships, and school. If we are unsafe, all other core values are in jeopardy, so we make safety our foundation.

Attendance Incentives:

Each week we will be hosting a sweet treat on Friday's for our students with Perfect Attendance! This week, students will earn POPCORN for being here each day! Please continue prioritizing sending your littles to school each day! It vastly improves their learning and social skills.

Tardies and Early Pick Up:

It is crucial that parents and guardians bring their phones AND valid identification when coming to the front office. We are utilizing a QR code for both Late Arrivals as well as Early Pick Ups. This allows us to provide more accurate data to families on how these two factors impact your student's learning. If you fail to bring your phone, it will lengthen the amount of time it takes to drop your student off or pick them up. As a reminder, your student will be marked absent if they are dropped off after 10AM. Early pick up cut off time is 2:00 pm.

After School Pick Up:

We have seen an increase in families who do not have their car tag, change their mode of transportation, or park in the front office area for pick up. Please know that all parents should be going through the car line, unless they have a Pop Squad Tag or have been registered as a Walker. If you need to change your mode of pickup, you must fill out this form before 12:00pm the day of pick up. Temporary Transportation Form.

SPRING BREAK IS COMING!

Friendly reminder that campus will be closed for Spring Break from Monday, March 10th to Friday, March 14th. We are excited to welcome students back to campus on Monday, March 17th. We hope you enjoy the time with your families and loved ones.

Read Across America Week

It is Read Across America Week! You are encouraged to read with your child and update his/her Reading Log every day! At the end of the month, the class with the most reading minutes will receive a PIZZA Party!

Please send your Teachers a picture of the students' Logs TONIGHT so we can track our points

What is Special Education?

Special education is a program designed to ensure that students with learning challenges or disabilities receive the individualized support they need to succeed. Each child is unique, and special education helps us meet students where they are, whether they need adjustments to the curriculum, one-on-one support, or specific resources to thrive academically and socially.

If a student qualifies for special education, we work closely with families to create an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or a 504 Plan. This plan outlines specific goals, services, and accommodations that will support the child’s development and learning in a way that suits their strengths and addresses any challenges. These services might include specialized instruction, speech therapy, counseling, or other supports tailored to their needs.

Our goal is to create an inclusive learning environment where every child feels supported, valued, and able to reach their fullest potential. Special education is one way we help all students grow and succeed."

If you would like to request services for your child, please complete this form.
