Dear Spark Families,
Thank you for your continued support in helping us build a strong and thriving school community. We truly appreciate all that you do to ensure your child is prepared and ready to learn each day. One of the most important ways you can support your child’s success is by ensuring they attend school every day, arrive on time, and are ready to learn. Consistent attendance helps students develop strong habits and supports both their academic and social growth.
This month, teachers will be reaching out to families to schedule Parent Conferences. We will also have an early dismissal day on February 26 to allow time for these conferences. Your child’s teacher will provide more specific information regarding conference times and details. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about your child’s progress, strengths, and goals.

Thank you once again for your partnership and support.
Together, we can ensure every child continues to learn, grow, and succeed.

Dear Families,
As we work during this second semester, the energy across our campus is strong! Our students are growing, our classrooms are focused, and the momentum we’ve built together is on track. We’re proud of where we are, and even more excited about where we’re headed!
While our focus remains on finishing this year strong, we’re already looking ahead to next school year and can’t wait to welcome more families into our school community. We are building something special here, and we want other families who are looking for a school that prioritizes learning, consistency, and strong partnerships to be part of it!
If you have friends, family members, or neighbors who are considering school options, we invite you to share your experience and encourage them to apply with us. Your voice matters and hearing directly from current families helps others see what makes our school such a strong place for students.

Thank you for being a key part of this community. The best is still ahead, and we’re excited to keep growing together!
With appreciation,
Maribel Barrera
Principal

To support family schedules and flexibility, teachers may begin meeting with families as early as February 6. These conferences are a valuable opportunity to review your child’s progress, align on academic goals, and plan supports for the remainder of the school year.
All families who would like to meet with their child’s teacher will be accommodated. Conferences will be held in person whenever possible, with virtual or phone options available as needed.
We appreciate your partnership and look forward to meaningful conversations that support your child’s success!

Our Special Education team is proud of the positive growth we are seeing across our programs. Through teamwork, consistency, and strong relationships, students are making meaningful progress and building important skills for success. Thank you for all you do parents we could not do our work without your support!

Dear Families,
From February 9–13, our campus will be celebrating Peaceful Problem Solvers Week.
Our goal is to foster kindness, empathy, and student empowerment across all grade levels. Throughout the week, students will participate in activities and discussions designed to help them build healthy relationship skills and strengthen their confidence in handling challenges appropriately.
We will also focus on helping students distinguish between peer conflict and bullying, recognize bullying early, and address concerns before they escalate. Empowering students with these tools allows them to respond in safe, respectful, and responsible ways.
We look forward to a meaningful week of learning and growth for our students.
